Walking or cycling more often decreases the number of vehicles on our roads, improves local air quality, enhances our physical and mental health and improves our productivity. Choose to walk or cycle to work, school, the shops or when running errands. Organisations can support staff and students with active travel options by providing secure storage options for bikes and end of trip facilities such as showers and change rooms.

Public transport is a great way to reduce emissions and save money. By catching the bus, train or tram you can avoid paying for parking, reduce your expenditure on petrol and reduce congestion on the roads. Additionally, not driving means you have time for other things, like reading, catching up on emails or preparing for that early morning meeting. Looking for inspiration? Check out a South Aussie with Cosi video about public transport.
