Heating hot water can be as much as one fifth of the electricity bill for some homes. Solar hot water systems utilise energy from the sun to heat water. A variety of system types are available including heatpumps and gas- or electricity-boosted systems to heat water on cloudy days. The costs of these systems  pay for themselves over time through substantial savings on energy bills. Incentives available.

Batteries connected to solar panels enable excess solar energy generated throughout the day to be stored and used at night time. Installing grid connected battery storage enables stored renewable energy to be fed back into the grid, ultimately reducing peak energy loads and the lowering the cost of electricity for all.
