Wax Design has pledged support for Carbon Neutral Adelaide, acknowledging that climate change is a serious issue and being committed to the long-term sustainability of not only Adelaide but all of South Australia. Wax Design has a strong environmental commitment, expressed in the company’s business practice as well as the reduction of its carbon footprint.
What Wax Design is doing to reduce carbon emissions
Wax Design strives to create sustainable and environmentally sound projects. Wax Design actively seeks projects that have a strong environmental and community focus, consulting on regional township plans, environmental design projects and wind farm assessments and having a ‘no uranium mine’ policy.
This ideology is mirrored in Wax Design’s studio environment by offsetting carbon where applicable, fitting solar panels, reducing vehicular use through cycling, carpooling or using the GoGet car share system for meetings and site visits, recycling all office equipment and being members of the CitySwitch Green Office program.
