Mean Green Coffee Machine is a mobile coffee cart business that has an eco-friendly, sustainability-focused operation. The cart uses biodegradable cups, lids, spoons, stirrers, napkins, cup holder trays, and straws for iced drinks. A range of plant-based bio-plastics have been selected for some items, including linings in coffee cups, to replace plastics derived from fossil fuels. The company is donating a dollar from every reusable cup sold to plant native trees in Australia. Efforts to reduce their impact further include buying local and checking the environmental and social practices of supplier companies.  The company is also investigating solar power options to eliminate greenhouse gas emissions from the electricity use.
